Some Questions Occurring Before that Paradigm Shaking Handshake

You know a big part of disclosure (and I know I am not the only one highlighting this) is the effect meeting ETs will have on our belief systems.

If they are an enlightened bunch you know they have already factored this matter into their whole programme of introducing themselves.

With a pluralist, multifaith and secular, muticultured planet they are most certainly going to take into account the need for total respect toward every belief system and mindset that does not involve hurting others (just as we do).

But does that mean they will engage with us in a way that least effects our convictions, religious or otherwise … ? Are they already doing so by not being quite as conspicuous as many (here at least) would like.

If/when they come, will they continue to respect and steer clear of such issues (perhaps putting a clamp on anything they ‘know’) only sharing what they feel would not change the pluralist ‘climate’ so to speak.

So letting individuals and collectives form their own conclusions in their own time.

What if the advent of ETs involves – unquestionably and unavoidably – an introduction to greater truths, how will that resolve itself in the long run?

Most people who access the articles and news here are of the ‘bring it on’ persuasion, assured enough in their core beliefs that they are enlightened enough to pass unchallenged by such an engagement and indeed, feel it might enhance and confirm them.

Here is a question well worth asking. 

If our lives here are about soul education – always preparing us for something brighter, more beautiful – in the event that many people are completely united with their belief systems as a part of that education (even to the extent that if their belief system says our lives here are not about soul education but something else, then that is what they are here for) then to what extent are ETs actually allowed to bring new data in the form of their officially recognised presence into that programme of learning (that each soul may have selected for itself).

Maybe there are strict universal laws that prohibit such shifts in the paradigm.

Which puts me in mind of Kabamur’s predictions re a separation of evolving streams.

Then again, maybe the kind of revelatory experience that ETs bring with them – whether it be belief system expanding or not – is a universal event the planetary collective is waiting for as part of its theatre of experience.

Look, if you have a positive, people and universe embracing belief system or set of convictions then you are golden as far as I am concerned (and that is without knowing what challenges you may have overcome to keep that banner flying boldly above you). Not that my opinion should or would matter to you, I just like stating the sentiment for its ‘connective’ value.

That universal sense of commonality in the overcoming of struggles to embrace a better self is surely going to play a part in relating to off planeters, wouldn’t you say? It cannot be an experience isolated to one planet surely … 

I am going to say no.

Part of me thinks I might be overthinking the whole contact thing when I articulate these issues, after all, what’s wrong with a newscast of an ET shaking the President’s hand in the White house, blah, blah, blah, big smiles, short speeches, let’s get it over with and get back to life and business.

Then again, another part thinks no matter how minimum fuss, minimum effect both we, and possibly they, might like such an event to be, that is too big a rock going in the pool not to make major ripples.

The kind of ripples that will alter the pool forever, and for the better (I think our isolation encourages all kinds of negative expressions, war, overweening ambition, that will benefit from a more universal gaze and interaction) and whereas I have only skimmed some of the topics such an event may raise, you can bet on ‘their’ side, ‘they’ have gone into the whole issue of contact and its likely effects about as far as it is possible to go.
