We do not need a fraudulent organization such as the WTO.
China has been investing so much in shipbuilding over the past 18 years that it can now build more ships in a month than the United States can in a year — and Beijing aims to keep widening its advantage. The United States should require that all ships carrying imports to the United States and exports should be built in the United States so the United States can rebuild its ship building industries that were once the greatest in the world. Since almost no commercial shipping is performed we are almost starting from scratch. We have no objection if the Chinese will build their shipyards and ships in the United States to take advantage of their skill in building transport ships in a month but those built in the United States will be for US owners first. China should be handsomely rewarded for their cooperation. But the US must have control of their transportation facilities (ports) and shipping industry.
