Not sure what is going on with the people worrying about China and other countries taking over out lands to ruin. We have local zoning in NY state in the beautiful Catskills Mountains. Sullivan County Town of Fallsburg we have Farmers and local families that have their Wells going dry all summer due to the NY City Hasidic community moves up here for the summer months. They have taken over all the political spots and then they put up their yeshiva’s schools no taxes and attached to every development they build.
Taxes for these become OUR burden to pay. Now, they are fighting to change our local agricultural zoning to take that over as well. The new argument is Religious Discrimination federal religious land use. (RLUIPA.) THIS IS PART OF CHEVAN DECISION. IF THAT WAS DONE AWAY WITH, HOW CAN THAT BE USED?
The government here in NY needs to stop using this disastrous decision to control and ruin the land up here. Local families wells are going dry! We have farms in need. WHEN DOES THIS MOVIE STOP AND TRULY END THE INJUSTICE AND STOP THE LANDS RUINING? We have to pay the taxes this religious community don’t pay.
Taxes are extremely high now. Trump needs to act up here and stop this nonsense.. Before the land is scooped up and ruined. No fixing it after all these building are up.
