On Monday the internet, cellphone and landline all went out for me and I thought the EBS went into effect, but me and my friend found out otherwise.
First, I saw the live Inauguration online watching just before 9 AM PST and do confirm that Trump did not have his hand on the Bible as I guess Justice Roberts didn’t let Trump’s family get close to him as he started reading the Oath to Trump, so his family was still moving to the isle when it started.
On Monday we had high winds again and then I was lying on the sofa at about 2:30 PM PST when my friend came into the room and said the internet was down and then he checked the landline to see if it was working and there was a dial tone.
I few minutes later I went to the backroom to reset the modem and the new fiber optic cable box altogether four times and it didn’t work.
Then I went to call the phone company and there was no dial tone, but there was something I could tell it had an open line to work yet no calls could be made and I even called 911 emergency and nothing.
Later my friend checked his cell phone and there was no service for internet or wifi. We did get radio reception, but that is bad reception in our location as you can’t listen to it because too much static on the line.
This is when I thought the EBS was here and everything was down for the 10 days.

My friend drove down to the local mini mart on the main road and they said the wifi tower from one phone company blew down and landed on the phone lines of the other phone company and took out everything, but there was still electrical power which on our block the electrical and phone lines are on the same poles.
On Tuesday morning I got up early and checked the landline and still no dial tone so I went back to bed, but later I checked and the modem was now working, yet even then no dial tone. They are separate lines.
Is this a scare tactic to have strong winds or just bad weather to be accused of taking down the whole internet and communications that we do not even receive the EBS?
There were rumors of fires being started on Mount Wilson near Los Angeles and that would shut down communications for the EBS for over One Million People.
