History is being fulfilled. This occurrence, the “Blessing of Israel”, way back then, is what is happening in world politics TODAY. Manasseh is the British Empire. Ephraim is America. GENESIS, Chapter 48 unfolds:
Joseph, the son of Jacob/Israel was informed that his father, Israel, was sick. V.1 He took his two sons, Manasseh and Ephraim, to visit his sick father.
V.2 Joseph strengthened himself and sat up in bed. V.3 Jacob/Israel said to Joseph, that God Almighty had blessed him. V.4 The blessing was that God would make Jacob seed a multitude of people.
V.9 Joseph said to Jacob, bring me thy sons and I will bless them.
V.14 Jacob/Israel stretched out his right hand and laid it upon Ephraim’s head, who was the younger, and his left hand upon Manasseh’s head, guiding his hands wittingly; for Manasseh was the firstborn.
V.17 And when Joseph saw that his father laid his right hand upon the head of Ephraim, it displeased him: and he held up his father’s hand to remove it from Ephraim’s head unto Manasseh’s head.
V.18 Joseph tried to explain that Manasseh was his firstborn and should have the greater blessing.

V.19 Jacob/Israel refused and said, “I know it, my son, I know it: he also shall become a people, and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be greater that he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations”.V.20 In thee shall Israel bless, saying, God make thee as Ephraim and as Manasseh: and he set Ephraim before Manasseh.
