The irony about people complaining over the H1B Visas is the fact that automation will also replace the foreigners coming in who use the program. Robots, Humanoids, and automation makes everyone with a job temporary placeholders.
That’s the only reason Indian workers are relevant in that regard. They have only a strong 5-7 years at most. Making 10 would be a blessing. That is the only reason corporations are cheaping out on H-1B visas. Why spend more on US citizens when the longevity of the job will be cut short regardless of who has those positions due to technology?
That is wasting money. This is why US workers are being let go and replaced by foreigners. Who themselves will be replaced. Companies save money by hiring H-1B workers who accept lower wages and fewer benefits compared to domestic talent. This isn’t about “quality” talent.
It’s about keeping costs down during the transition to automation. So I do not know why everyone was so pissed off at Elon & Donald. None of these clowns will be there long. I would do the same exact thing. This is what is confusing everyone. They are conflating talent with expenses.
Corporation do not care for that anymore. They just want to save while we move to a more self sustaining business model that do not require human labor. This is the goal. Where everyone will be able to be at home and spending more time with family & friends. We will not have to slave at these jobs anymore.
