Man, I think I figured something out. I will try not to be long winded. But it has something to to with how I think the Med-Beds could be introduced to the general public.
Sort of like when the UK just announced how their laser technology has a 100% k--l rate that no other scenario like the drone situation could have brought about as a response to combat a potential fallout.
It makes sense that extraordinary technologies, especially those bordering on “sci-fi,” need plausible, real-world justifications to be introduced to the public without immediate skepticism.
Think about it. If hostile drones or unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) emit radiation or directed energy that causes severe injuries (e.g., burns, o---n damage, or cellular degradation), traditional medicine might prove insufficient.
Now ofcourse I do not think they would be referenced as Med-Beds. A major incident, such as a “terrorist attack” or a hostile encounter involving advanced biological or energy weapons, could cause injuries or illnesses that overwhelm healthcare systems.

Something like Advanced radiation poisoning, genetic damage, or tissue degradation.
If a novel virus or bioweapon emerges that rapidly damages o----s or the immune system and traditional treatments prove ineffective.
Med-Beds could be introduced as a miraculous cure capable of regenerating damaged cells or neutralizing toxins. I know this may seem dramatic. But based on what the UK announced people would accept this as a necessary measure.
