Will it be that Trump gets the 20th Amendment changed for the Presidency to start from 20 Jan. to now the day of the election of the prior year?
Trump wants Congress to just pass a bill to change the US Constitution as the People or the states don’t have that authority. I guess Congress is still the boss as a corporation per their boss the President-elect.

Trump asks for Speaker Johnson to pass a bill for his starting date to 5 or 6 Nov., 2024 to get things moving and not waste time waiting till January.
20th Amendment, ratified 23 Jan. 1933 while FDR in first term:
Section 1.
“The terms of the President and Vice President shall end at noon on the 20th day of January, and the terms of Senators and Representatives at noon on the 3d day of January, of the years in which such terms would have ended if this article had not been ratified; and the terms of their successors shall then begin.”

Section 5.
“Sections 1 and 2 shall take effect on the 15th day of October following the ratification of this article.”
Prior to ratification they did take office on 4 Mar. the following year of the election, thus FDR took office for his first term on 4 Mar., 1933.
For Congress to just pass a bill rather than have the states vote on ratifying an Amendment, Trump cannot get into office unless they violate the US Constitution or Trump waits till his real fourth term of office as the ratification usually takes a year and then it must be specified for later that year to be enacted not retroactively.
Maybe this is a sign for other things to happen retroactively.
