In 1989 it was the 3rd game of the World Series that was halted for 10 days due to the Loma Prieta earthquake, and now it will be the 3rd game of the 2024 World Series that will be halted.
That was on 17 Oct., 1989 at Candlestick Park in San Francisco between the San Francisco Giants vs. Oakland Athletics, but the World Series didn’t finish till 28 Oct., but now it appears it will not even restart till November in 2024 the first time in history a game played in November.
The number 17 comes up again, day of the month and the year, 8 + 9 = 17.
This time it will be the New York Yankees vs. Los Angeles Dodgers which the first 2 games will be on 25 Oct. and on 26 Oct. at Dodger Stadium, both start times are set for 8:08 PM EDT.
These are the most played teams in the MLB World Series with 63 games combined and 34 wins combined, and the world will be watching.
Maybe Trump will be there to make a big announcement of the upcoming EBS which may start just as the 2nd game ends at Midnight EDT yet no time to get home
