My phone landline and internet provider may be bankrupt & shut down as of 25 June.
Frontier is the only phone landline and internet service provider in my small town, but Verizon is available for cell phones.
Frontier is Internet, Phone & TV Service Provider. And I don’t know if any other TV Service Provider is available here as I don’t have TV and thus I cannot watch the Presidential Debate or the EBS!
On early Tuesday evening, 25 June, I checked on my phone line and internet service provider website and it stated “Your services were disconnected. You’ll have access to your account for 120 days after disconnect.”
I just wanted to know what my next month’s bill was going to be, so the website was still working, but no amount due as of yet, however the phone landline was still working.
This morning I got up real early and actually got online and it was still working, but when I went to Frontier’s website it showed: “502 Bad Gateway.”
Maybe 10 years ago or more we had the phone and internet company change over to Frontier and so now maybe Frontier could not handle the loss on major business across the country for themselves.
