KNOWLEDGE OF GOD
Part One
I began writing, “A Christian Herald” in the spring of 2015. Before then I wrote occasional essays without a header title. All of these writings were directed toward my own children and a few long time friends. For the past few years I have occasionally allowed my writings to be published in a particular public forum. It has ever been my intent and hope to aid those who read these writings to develop a deeper and more personal relationship with our Creator, God. I have never asked for or accepted any form of remuneration for my work except an occasional special blessing from that Creator / God. All of the matter I have written in these essays reflect my own experience and personal knowledge of our God and Savior. I am convinced that some of the things I have suggested as real are a little beyond the generally accepted doctrine of any established church, at least as far as the leaders of any Church are willing to consider or make public as doctrine.
It is obvious that not every fact of the reality we are currently engaged in is necessary to develop a knowledge of and love for our Creator and our Heavenly Father. Many doubts in the minds of those beginning their trek to God can and will be dispelled as those seekers steadily and honestly approach the true knowledge of our God. My intent has always been to offer those answers that I personally found helpful in my own journey.
Every seeker of eternal truth has to begin with the question, Who and What am I? If you stand back a monent from the question, looking at it from every angle you will begin to percieve the answer. Language enables us to ask questions in a comprehensible manner. If you change the question to a positve statement such as, “I Am”, and when you feel that statement deep in your soul, you will begin to see that you are a conscious independent intelligent entity of light.
When Moses asked the God on Mt. Sinai what his name was, He answered, “I Am that I Am”. God would not take any name familiar to mankind, but he could declare the most important attribute of his being. The fact that he existed, that he was an independant, conscious and intelligent entity of light. It is said that even Moses required some time and effort to fully comprehend that marvelous truth, and even when God pronounced that Moses was like unto his most beloved, he did not immediately comprehend what he heard.
Even when God refers to his children as the, “Children of Light”, few are able to comprehend the meaning of that simple truth, without a long time of meditation. When we at last come to gain that knowledge it will be accompanied by an overpowering outpouring of the light and love of God.

Once we know we are God’s children we will begin to understand how important it is for us to behave ourselves in a manner befitting the children of the Creator of Worlds Without End.
