I want to share a video of an interview with the Sheriff of Yuma county, Texas. The video is 55 minutes and you won’t believe what is conveyed.

This is setting up the opportunity for me to share my two-cents. It’s a plan to stop cold the illegal traffic from Mexico. I must warn you; it’s harsh and a most decissive method to stop the illegal border crossings.
My entire plan can be accomplished with the use of airplanes. It is a permanent solution with low maintance once implimented.
My plan is to establish a cactus field on the US side of the border. This field should be several hundred yards wide. Use the more nasty cactus such as the spiny thornubiscus. Once established, it will stop all foot traffic. To stop any heavy vehicles, be they tracked or wheels, plant land mines. The mines can be dropped from aircraft and will automatically bury themselves. Planes can also water the cactus with the same equpment used to fight forest fires. Once cactus reach a certain level of maturity the watering can stop and the plants will thrive without further help. To be fair, signs should be placed on the southern side of the field warning of the danger. A four-foot chainlink fence should be erected on the north side of the field with signs giving the same warning. That fence is to keep animals as well as humans out of the danger zone. Anyone who is brave enough or s----d enough to venture into the field will not exit it alive. Metal detectors will be useless and if some other method is used to detonate the mines, border patrol will respond promply.
