In Response to Danlboon: US Civil Peace Flag essay
The history of the U.S. Civil Flag is indeed a fascinating subject. Its stripes were changed to vertical and flown over Custom Houses in 1799 to denote a place of commerce. Custom Houses were constructed by harbor docks and used to conduct business and trade transactions like bills of lading and the offloading of slaves where they were auctioned to the highest bidder at the edge of the harbor. This flag was also used to denote the difference between a civilian commerce ship and a military war ship on the high seas or in port. Interesting to note that during this era, the civil flag was flown on revenue cutters who sailed out to ships to collect taxes! Today this branch of the military is known as the Coast Guard. The U.S. Civil flag flying on a revenue cutter in 1799 symbolized civilian authority under the Treasury Department rather than military authority under the War Department.
Interesting to note that vertical stripes on the U.S. Civil flag also denoted Roman Civil jurisdiction within Federal territories, democratic rule not common law, rather than military jurisdiction under Admiralty Law! Economic and unlawful entrapment began very early in our country. Interesting to note this flag has been adopted as a Peace flag today when its historical use signified a commerce enterprise and the taxation and enslavement of we the people! I cannot find any historical reference indicating the U.S. Civil flag was also known as a peace flag in that era.
Interesting to note that the first official flag of the American Revolution was the Grand Union flag first flown by General George Washington on January 2, 1776 at Cambridge, MA. Odd that this flag looked exactly like the flag flown by the British East India Company, a Vatican corporation……
NESARA/GESARA will be announced to the world soon. Our American flag, not a U.S. Civil flag, will represent our true Republic and Common Law. The American flag has always honored all who died to protect our Sovereign human right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for the next thousand years of Peace.
