The point of the 5th Amendment is not SILENCE. The point of the 5th Amendment is to prevent Government from TORTURING people to get a forced confession!
Coercion and Threats are a form of TORTURE / EXTORTION!
This concept appears to be lost on the SCOTUS for denying people the freedom to remain silent (free speech / 1st Amendment) and Requiring people to claim their RIGHTS first!
No one needs permission from the Government to exercise their RIGHT to remain silent! – But Lying Psychopaths (SCOTUS) will tell you, you do. Privileges require proof, documents, or permission. Civil Rights are Privileges, granted by your slave masters (Parens Patriae). Unalienable Human Rights are yours by Birth.
What constitutes a Psychopath in my opinion is; giving Immunity to a Narcissist (Narcissist + Immunity = Psychopath).

Psychopaths lack Accountability in the form of Empathy, Compassion, or Respect. Immunity serves the same function by removing Accountability.
