IMPORTUNE THE CREATOR
Some of the people who are presently alive, as mortals, on/in this world may perceive that we are currently in a situation that bodes ill for all of mankind in every nation. We are faced with an hateful and utterly careless enemy whose ambition is, our extinction. The present conditions of our temporal lives are entirely out of our control. We may perceive that we generally are not in possession of sufficient power to turn away that enemy and his minions in the least degree. We may have heard that there are some valiant individuals who possess weapons of sufficient power who have stood to engage that enemy and that some of the servants of that enemy have been deprived of their place on the field of battle. We may not all be personally aware of those great souls engaged in this terrible conflict. We may in our unavoidable ignorance fairly doubt the motives or even the of existence such warriors. It being not our own desire to impede their progress or further endanger their safety, we tend to be quiet and simply stay out of the fray and hope that they will have success in defeating that evil enemy.
If those warriors are truly on the field for the cause of overcoming the enemy of mankind, they are also standing against the enemy of God our Creator. Their battle for safety and liberty embraces all the children of God, of all generations and all nations. They of all warriors both need and deserve the aid of the Most High. They will need that aid every day and every hour until that enemy is finally subdued and placed in a condition where it will not any more be possible for that beast to affect the lives of the innocent who dwell on this world.
In the scriptures we are told that, if we ask, we will receive, if we seek we will find and if we knock it will be opened unto us. It may be that if enough of us importune the Lord in behalf of divine, aid, comfort, and protection for these heroes, He will hear and grant our prayers. Our God does possess sufficient power to make the efforts of these warriors successful and to make their war shorter and to protect them from harm while they engage the enemy. It may be that these warriors will become the most divinely protected and the most honored of all the generations of man who have fought for the liberty and peace of all the nations of God’s children.
May we, every one of us, young and old remember these warriors every day. Their battle is for us, let our prayers be for them. jd23-06-20
