22nd Amendment
This is the Amendment that limits the President to be elected only twice and serve no more than an additional two years of another term, ratified on February 27, 1951 with Harry S. Truman.
This is simple as to basically limit the terms for a person to serve as President to only 10 years or less.
This Amendment needs to be Ratified again with our Republic as it was after the change to the US CORP beginning with the Civil War. This includes through the 27th. This still may be acceptable as is.
This came about after FDR was elected for his forth consecutive term yet he only served 75 days of that forth term. So it appears Truman could not be elected for a second time as this Amendment was proposed in his first term and completed in his second term. LBJ however could have been elected a second time to serve 9 years 2 months as he only served 14 months of JFK’s term. Gerald Ford could only be elected into office once as he served 2 years, 5 months, 11 days of Nixon’s second term.
It was ratified by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several States within seven years as it took just under four years from date of submission.

22nd Amendment
Section 1
No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once. But this Article shall not apply to any person holding the office of President when this Article was proposed by the Congress, and shall not prevent any person who may be holding the office of President, or acting as President, during the term within which this Article becomes operative from holding the office of President or acting as President during the remainder of such term.
Section 2
This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several States within seven years from the date of its submission to the States by the Congress.
