2nd Amendment
This is the Amendment that gave us our right to defend ourselves from enemies foreign and domestic, ratified on December 15, 1791 with George Washington.
This is for when there was no set military for the united states at the time, yet the men were called on to help in our total defense when needed through a militia in the early days of the country and needed some type of Arms to do so.
This Amendment should stay with our Republic as it was prior to the change to the US CORP beginning with the Civil War. This is one of the Bill of Rights.
For us to have the right of the people to keep and bear Arms is to have the weapons of the day and not be limited to certain types of Arms/guns or any restrictions on them including a permit to carry, and Congress, any state, county or city cannot pass a law to infringe on these rights which some have already done primarily like New York City with their gun bans.
The police even think they have codes or policies to ban people from having guns, yet they still cannot supersede the US Constitution which ends up the people being arrested and then the case being settled in court because of their ignorance, many cases are dismissed if no real harm was done, and this is taxpayers’ money is wasted.

People at times have approved that there were others that had guns with them nearby to save those in need from the perpetrator and the police could not get there in time, where I’ve seen videos where the police have not arrived for more than 20 minutes and the perpetrator was stopped by someone else or they got away as no one had the Arms to stop them.
In New Zealand and Australia they did give up their Arms thinking it was in the best interest of the people, but as you could see through the C---d pandemic they were forced to obey the government.
A Militia is an army composed of ordinary citizens rather than professional soldiers and is subject to call for service in an emergency. And for today if things arise We The People have numerous veterans and others that can oblige that need.
2nd Amendment
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
