Yes, indeed there are and I know of one entry point. In the early 1970s, as adolescents, my friends and I found the entrance to one of the tunnel systems. We explored them several times, going as far as 10 miles into the system, until the entrance was gated and locked. There must have been cameras in the system and we were seen, hence the locked gate the final time we tried to access it.
The tunnels were concrete, square walls with grid covered lighting along the walls. We used flashlights as the lighting system was not turned on. Every once in awhile we would run across locked cages that held ammunition and firearms, but never encountered any other people or anything alive. The tunnel system was extensive, but we were only able access it twice, and only explored, as I stated above, about 10 miles of it.
I have not been back since and do not know if the entrance has been permanently blocked, or buried, or not, as it was in a grass covered hillside.
