Who votes on a stance of hating one party over another. Obviously not many. I can tell from the red wave which turned out to be a ripple. Democrats have a platform. I personally don’t agree with their policies, but they are clear on what they stand for. I don’t vote because I hate one party over the other. The closest I come to that train of thought is to vote out an incumbent, because he or she is doing a terrible job. My summation is to vote out the incumbent in hopes a new member will perform better than the incumbent, but it’s not because I hate the party the bad politician is associated with.
Republicans need to be clear on what they stand for. They need a clear platform, then convey those policies to the public. If a candidate is against abortions or open borders, state their policies in a clear voice, then deliver on those promises if elected. Don’t blast their opponent for wanting open borders or abortions. Voters want to know where a candidate stands, so they will know if her or she lives up to their promises. The economy is on a downhill spiral with no change in sight. People see this. Since they don’t know what a republication will do, people vote for a democrat simply because republications do not have a platform and people are generally scarred to take a change on an unknown with unknown policies. Republicans heed my warning and take a stand, then let people know what those policies are. CREATE a PLATFORM.
