THE UNITED STATES MUST RETURN TO NATIONAL SELF-SUFFICIENCY AS IN THE DAYS OF HENRY FORD

The above link is not true that the Russians cannot obtain chips as they do have alternative sources from outside of Russia for chips, etc.. This has happened because Russia is mismanaged. The US also has this problem which I have been pointing out for years. The recent Congressional action to bring the chip manufacturing to the US is a move I have advocated for years. All supply chains must start in the US and end in the US. We must have complete self-sufficiency in everything relating to national defense and domestic production. The only imports we need are for natural resources we do not have. On the other hand, our only national security interest abroad is to source those minerals or natural resources that are necessary for our industries that we do not have. Of course, if we could create substitutes it would be better. That means all foreign bases in Europe and Asia would be closed and only those bases that have to do with foreign natural resource importation should be kept open. The only purpose of our Navy is to secure these natural resources that we do not have. All other foreign entanglements should be ended. The US should never have entered World War One and World War Two and left them to stew in their own juices as the father of the United State George Washington advised in his Farewell Address.

After Britain and France went to war in 1792, George Washington declared neutrality, with unanimous support of his cabinet, after deciding that the treaty with France of 1778 did not apply.[3]Washington’s Farewell Address of 1796 explicitly announced the policy of American non-interventionism:

The great rule of conduct for us, in regard to foreign nations, is in extending our commercial relations, to have with them as little political connection as possible. Europe has a set of primary interests, which to us have none, or a very remote relation. Hence she must be engaged in frequent controversies the causes of which are essentially foreign to our concerns. Hence, therefore, it must be unwise in us to implicate ourselves, by artificial ties, in the ordinary vicissitudes of her politics, or the ordinary combinations and collisions of her friendships or enmities.[4]

The US finds itself in this situation as its government is both corrupt and incompetent. Our just in time defense industries are dependent on the importation of foreign components which will not be available by sea blocked by submarines and will not be available by air as our airports will be hit by hypersonic missiles. In two to four weeks defense industries will be forced to shut down. We do not have the surge capacity of 1940 where we could triple production by going to triple shifts. All of this should be sourced in the US. Also, all car production must be sourced in the US and if a foreign nation as Japan or Germany wants to sell in our market they must produce all components and cars in the US and create these good factory jobs here. All factory jobs must be returned to the US. Let’s look at car production.

How many cars are sold in US 2021?

Total 2021 full-year sales of 15,079,182 units were up 3.4% from 2020 year-end totals. Truck and SUV full-year sales were up 5.3% to 11,654,294 units, while passenger car sales were down 2.6% to 3,424,888 units for 2021.

This means we import about six million cars a year. We should import zero cars. If we look at Chinese production, it does not seem to grow. I estimate actual production of around 40 million cars a year. It is understated. That means the US industry is 25% of China.

This has not only to do with defense but you do not farm out your basic industries. On the other hand all immigration must stop 100% and we must subsidize births by great incentives to produce our own workers. A nation is monstrously perverted and sick that sponsors sodomy and replaces births with immigrants. A five thousand dollar per year tax credit per year for each child born. If a family has ten children, the the father earns fifty thousand dollars a year, he pays no taxes to anyone. He will be exempt from property taxes also. It should also be worked out he pays no sales taxes.

Let’s look at the oil industry. All our production cannot be handled by our domestic refineries much of it was geared for heavy oil and we

now produce much more light oil. Those refineries must be converted to light oil to stop imports of heavy oil and exports of our light oil.

The U.S does indeed produce enough oil to meet its own needs.

According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), in 2020 America produced 18.4 million barrels of oil per day and consumed 18.12 million. And yet that same report reveals that the U.S. imported 7.86 million barrels of oil per day last year. The United States was a total petroleum net exporter in 2020 and 2021. In 2021, the United States exported about 8.63 million barrels per day (b/d) and imported about 8.47 million b/d of petroleum,1 making the United States an annual total petroleum net exporter for the second year in a row since at least 1949.

We could go on but the essential premises of a new economic policy are outlined above.
