(Reader: A Fellow Patriot) Regarding “There were 777 Books of the Bible”

Reader Post | By A Fellow Patriot

Someone posted: There were 777 books of the Bible. We <”we” who?> only had 66 <King James count, that is, short-changed by 7> of them, while 711 were missing. <That is, the operable number here is 7. So, 777 must be code for both Catholics <as in, do you know your bible, and can you help your Protestant neighbor?> and Protestants <as in something’s wrong with the book count.>>

Imagine this conversation in Heaven: The Second Person of the Holy Trinity (we know Him as Jesus Christ) remarks that someone suggested the Bible should contain 777 books. The Third Person of The Holy Trinity (we know Him as The Holy Spirit, or The Paraclete) responds “That sounds like a bit of an onus for mankind to pass on verbally, learn, publish, navigate and live to. The First Person of The Holy Trinity (we know Him as The Father) says we’ll make sure that You (The Son) are known as The Living Word in a much smaller, more digestible and manageable number of books. But there will be something about the number 7 that will serve as a mystery and topic of discussion to many for a few centuries.
