MY CHARGE AS AN EVANGELIST IN EVERY POST . . .
“I solemnly charge you as one who is living in the presence of our God, even Christ Jesus, the One who is on the point of judging the living and the dead, I solemnly charge you as not only living in His presence, but also by His appearing and His kingdom; make a public proclamation of the Word with such formality, gravity, and authority as must be heeded. Hold yourself in readiness for this proclamation when opportunity presents itself and when it does not; reprove so as to bring forth conviction and confession of guilt; rebuke sharply, severely, and with a suggestion of impending penalty. Pleadingly exhort, doing all this with that utmost self-restraint which does not hastily retaliate a wrong, and accompany this exhortation with the most painstaking instruction . . .” (2 Timothy 4:1-2) (Bold added) (Italics added)
FIFTH STEP: “WE ADMITTED TO GOD, OURSELVES AND TO ANOTHER HUMAN BEING THE EXACT NATURE OF YOUR WRONGS.”
After writing and detailing a daunting “Fourth Step,” you need to openly express the details of your pain; the onset, before the drugs began, the traumatic moment that made you resort to drugs because you could not cope with the onset of that traumatic moment of pain effectively. Once the pain perpetuated, you pushed it down, not wanting to revisit it, not wanting to remember, not wanting to recognize it, who or where it came from. But, the one thing you held on to was the violation; the fact that it was done against your will, you didn’t want it, you did not invite it, you even said no to it, but the violation kept coming until it overtook you. You became powerless and you couldn’t fight back hard enough, strong enough, long enough; you were overtaken by the violation. It doesn’t mean you wanted it! Oh no, not at all! You did not solicit it! You did not encourage it! In fact, you did absolutely nothing besides being present. Know this, if it wasn’t you, it would have been the next person present. Why? Because S---n roams the earth, searching to and fro, seeking someone, anyone to devour!
EXAMPLE: S---N ROAMING THE EARTH . . .
The LORD said to S---n, “From where do you come?” Then S---n answered the LORD and said, “From roaming about on the earth and walking around on it.”(Job 1:7)

The difference is, while you were writing your “Fourth Step” you were instructed to pray each time before you put pen to paper. Consequently, you would have already shared your Step Work with God. However, you need God to be in your step work because He is the only one that can extend the mercy you need.
