Is Trump Browning’s Pied Piper?

I uncovered this old article that was published 3 days before DJT’s Inauguration Day. It compares Donald Trump to the Pied Piper – not as the hero, but as a pied deceiver. I post it today because although the most accepted date for the story about the children of Hamelin is June 26th. Mistakenly, Robert Browning’s poem stated the date as July 22nd (I am posting this a day late). Lately, everything is becoming apparent, and is emanating from a mockingbird standpoint. Comically, the predisposed projection to Trump’s considerable supporters, is the reality of potus Biden’s brainwashed sheep.

Trump as Browning’s Pied Piper

By ROBIN BATES | Published: JANUARY 17, 2017

“Here’s something I didn’t see coming in these turbulent political times: someone applying Robert Browning’s Pied Piper of Hamelin to Donald Trump.

Kudos to Charlie Pierce of Esquire for doing so. At one point he describes Trump as the Pied Piper and the children as the voters he has conned. Then he reverses course and the piper becomes one of the subcontractors that Trump has cheated.

If you don’t know the poem, it begins with a description of Hamelin’s rat problem. This sounds a bit like the hellscape that, as Trump sees it, America has become under Barack Obama’s presidency:

They fought the dogs and killed the cats,
And bit the babies in the cradles,
And ate the cheeses out of the vats,
And licked the soup from the cooks’ own ladles,
Split open the kegs of salted sprats,
Made nests inside men’s Sunday hats,
And even spoiled the women’s chats,
By drowning their speaking
With shrieking and squeaking
In fifty different sharps and flats.

Enter the man who claims he can fix Hamelin’s problems. Like Trump, the Pied Piper is good at blowing hot air although, unlike Trump, he can actually follow through on his promises (Huh?, promises made – promises kept!):

Into the street the Piper stept,
Smiling first a little smile,
As if he knew what magic slept
In his quiet pipe the while;
Then, like a musical adept,
To blow the pipe his lips he wrinkled,
And green and blue his sharp eyes twinkled,
Like a candle-flame where salt is sprinkled;
And ere three shrill notes the pipe uttered,
You heard as if an army muttered;
And the muttering grew to a grumbling;
And the grumbling grew to a mighty rumbling;
And out of the houses the rats came tumbling.
Great rats, small rats, lean rats, brawny rats,
Brown rats, black rats, grey rats, tawny rats,
Grave old plodders, gay young friskers,
Fathers, mothers, uncles, cousins,
Cocking tails and pricking whiskers,
Families by tens and dozens,
Brothers, sisters, husbands, wives —
Followed the Piper for their lives.
From street to street he piped advancing,
And step for step they followed dancing,
Until they came to the river Weser
Wherein all plunged and perished!

As Pierce sees it, Trump will not be anywhere near as effective. Rather, his hot air serves only to lead his followers either into a river or a hole in a mountain. The one child who, because he is lame, escapes the fate of the others, describes the wonderful sounds he heard. It’s his version of the return of coal and manufacturing jobs, universal health care with no deductibles (“We’re going to have insurance for everybody”), and an America that looks like Mayfield in Leave it to Beaver

I can’t forget that I’m bereft
Of all the pleasant sights they see,
Which the Piper also promised me.
For he led us, he said, to a joyous land,
Joining the town and just at hand,
Where waters gushed and fruit-trees grew,
And flowers put forth a fairer hue,
And everything was strange and new.

He sounds like a soon-to-be disaffected Trump voter. Or a previous enrollee in Trump University.

Pierce imagines how the children will respond once they awake from their trance:

And all the children of Hamelin looked around and thought to themselves, “Jesus H. Christ on a four-day bender, how in the everloving fck did we ever get inside this big-ass rock.”

The Esquire columnist then shifts gears, however, and imagines that Trump is Hamelin’s mayor rather than the piper—which is to say, a man who promises good money and then defaults. Here is the mayor applying what he thinks is leverage so as to pay only a fraction of what he owes, which is a thousand guilders:

A thousand guilders! The Mayor looked blue;
So did the Corporation too.
For council dinners made rare havoc
With Claret, Moselle, Vin-de-Grave, Hock;
And half the money would replenish
Their cellar’s biggest butt with Rhenish.
To pay this sum to a wandering fellow
With a gipsy coat of red and yellow!
“Beside,” quoth the Mayor with a knowing wink,
“Our business was done at the river’s brink;
“We saw with our eyes the vermin sink,
“And what’s dead can’t come to life, I think.
“So, friend, we’re not the folks to shrink
“From the duty of giving you something to drink,
“And a matter of money to put in your poke;
“But as for the guilders, what we spoke
“Of them, as you very well know, was in joke.
“Beside, our losses have made us thrifty.
“A thousand guilders! Come, take fifty!”

See, it was all a joke: the piper should have looked at what was in the mayor’s heart rather than what came out of his mouth.

The piper, however, can fight back, as the townspeople learn to their sorrow. Pierce indulges in a revenge fantasy:

You will recall that the story of Hamelin really is nothing more than the story of a subcontractor who got stiffed and took his revenge. There are modern parallels to that, I’m thinking, and if, one day, a flautist dressed in motley shows up at the White House, we may all survive this yet.

With him I proved no bargain-driver,
With you, don’t think I’ll bate a stiver!
And folks who put me in a passion
May find me pipe to another fashion.

What punishment would be appropriate for our PEOTUS conman? If we turned off the spotlight so that he had to be alone with his own emptiness, would he feel as bereft as the Hamelin citizenry?”

As for turning off the Trump spotlight? Great, that worked for possibly 3 days. Then the msm, big tech, rino’s, and dems shrieked, “OOPS, we have no policy initiatives for putting American citizens back to work at high paying infrastructure jobs.” Let us PROJECT this light away from us, and impeach the real President, instead!  Because they admire the fact that their only perceptible policies are importing more illegal workers and pontificating Orange-Man-bad rhetoric. Who does this illegal influx affect the most? The African American workers.

Pointing the finger in the wrong direction, the author elicits thoughts of Trump callously discounting a sub-contractor’s payment. In reality, POTUS stuck it to an ocean load of vermin-like federal subcontractors who overcharged on every item conceivable. $500.00 for a toilet seat? C’mon man! He brought fairness back to the tax dollars paid for a product or service. Now, the question is, who really stiffed the workers? I know! The potus who stopped the piper’s paycheckson the Keystone XL oil lines and the workers on the southern wall, that’s who! I bet that these once proud American workers are still waiting for them high paying ECO-friendly jobs.

I would say that PEOTUS Trump was the first African American President. He did twice as much, in four years, against fanatical opposition for the African Americans, than Obama did in his opposition-free 8 years in office. In a self-search for self-realization, the self-centric Democrats cannot win any elections without abusing the black vote one mo’ time. C’mon AOC, talk that ebonics fo’ the black vote! And then send them 25,000 jobs elsewhere!

Fast forward to the 3:17 time mark:

One of the critical battlefronts taking place in today’s war against the cabal is in the African-American neighborhoods. Sorcha Faal wrote, “What I personally find most interesting in America today is that its black citizens are openly rebelling against these ‘experimental vaccines’. Of the Black citizens who make up 12% of the US population (as of  7.19.21), only 9% of these black people have allowed themselves to be given a Covid experimental vaccine shot.” The same African Americans that the US government conducted secret medical experiments on for 40 years….like experimental lab RATS.

It seems that the African Americans are following the blessed Pied Piper Trump instead of piper biden and the rest of the experimental rats.

This information from Judy Byington, is already known by the Black Americans. “By promoting vaccination but providing truthful information in alternative media, Trump is making Deep State vaccination voluntary, NOT mandatory, contrary to their plan. If Trump can skillfully change the situation, he will be able to stop it, there will be much fewer deaths, and it will be possible to prevent the consequences of vaccinating sheep with frequency therapy and the like (also, no one has canceled natural selection, this applies to those who take the vaccine for beer, burgers and participation in the lottery).” Now the dems are sending armed operatives into the Black neighborhoods, coercing lethal injections.

Nevertheless, smart people know better than to follow Biden and get these shots. For too many years, the dems have destroyed the Black Neighborhoods by way of the crack pipe and heroin needle. It is inconceivable that they would follow a piper with a needle! Browning warns them:

“Families by tens and dozens,
Brothers, sisters, husbands, wives —
Followed the Piper for their lives.
From STREET TO STREET (door to door?) he piped advancing,
And step for step they followed dancing,
Until they came to the river Weser
Wherein all plunged and perished!”

Why won’t the African Americans take these vaccinations? The answer could be answered with a question – how were they held down for so long?

Perhaps this is the answer. The FBI have now been mentioned in two high profile cases involving subversive operations. They are the attempted kidnapping of Michigan Governor Whitman and the January 6 Capitol Building walk through event. Now I know there are people who are scoffing at this information, but the FBI has a history of illegal and non-jurisdictional interventions. Non more than what occurred against African Americans.

According to Michael Eli Dokosi of, “Later in life and after his death, Hoover became a controversial figure as evidence of his secretive abuses of power began to surface. He was found to have exceeded the jurisdiction of the FBI, and to have used the FBI to harass political dissenters and activists, to amass secret files on political leaders, and to collect evidence using illegal methods. Hoover consequently amassed a great deal of power and was in a position to intimidate and threaten others, including sitting presidents of the United States.

None felt the wrath of Hoover more than black nationalists.

Hoover was a very young ambitious and unprincipled attorney. One of his first tasks involved destroying the mass revolutionary Pan-Africanist movement led by Marcus Garvey. He led a tactic of disruption, surveillance, and use of the law to destroy legitimate social protest movements.

Historian Robert Hill notes that Hoover put black radical movements under surveillance adding he was the point man used to monitor and amass enormous file systems on the notable people and organizations.

One of his earliest cases was his pursuit of Marcus Garvey who was living in the United States as leader of the Universal Negro Improvement Association Organization. His hounding will lead to the U.S. government deporting Garvey in 1927.

‘He had a partial thing in pursuing black leaders,” Hill asserted, adding “it was partly psychological, partly social and partly because of his strange sense of morality.’

By the 1960s, Hoover had used his Counterintelligence Program (COINTELPRO) to destabilize several organizations in the civil rights struggle. Historian Kwaku Parson-Lynn notes that from Garvey to Martin Luther King, Jr. and from any black organization, including the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) to the National League on Urban Conditions Among Negroes, the FBI deployed its surveillance resources on them.

‘Martin, Stokely Carmichael, Robert J. Brown, Angela Davis were getting mass coverage in the press. Their influence was carrying over to the white youth. This Psychological influence according to Hoover was dangerous,’ Parson-Lynn said.

The FBI’s COINTELPRO will take a heavy toll on the Black Power Movement particularly the young members of the Black Panther Party. According to Sam Anderson, at every chapter, there was at least an informant and provocateur who will be in the group to agitate and confuse.

The history holds that the FBI caused a split in the Panther Party across the East and West coasts when it wrote and sent unsavory letters to party leaders on each side purported to have come from within. While white America holds Hoover in high esteem, his impact on black leaders and on progressive black organizations has been negative. He destroyed civil rights and liberties using state-sponsored terrorism.”

Hmmm, now that the FBI is in trouble. Due to their self-inflicted, fake white-supremacist kidnapping of governor Whitman and their involvement in the January 6th Capitol Building farce. What act can Pelosi perform as an insurance policy against black unity? And, safeguard the success of biden’s street to street army of pied pipers in the Black neighborhoods.

How do the democrats restore the Africans to their Boule masters? I know, using Sister Ciara’s term from today’s article. They are rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic! Is it any wonder that the Capitol Police now have branches in Florida and California. How much longer will it be until it is a national -brown shirts – police force filled with wannabe boules and retired FBI agents enforcing an FDA approved killer vaccine for the down-trodden?

God bless !
