Comment: Ah, but sentient entities at all densities will always face attack as long as the Universe operates a pathogen/parasite/predator-and-host/prey ecosystem, which is endemic because of the structure of the Universe. It arises naturally.
However, the good news is that it is possible for entities to absorb the energy that they need for continued life directly from the substrate energy of the Universe, a-la Breatharians, and hence do not need to eat anything.
However, at this time, I do not know if that is possible for all levels of the pathogen-parasite-predator hierarchy or only for sentient entities above a certain level of consciousness.
