I read all the time about deep underground military bases, tunnels stretching from city to city, and catacombs to rival Paris or underground cities near Gobekly Tepi. There is just one thing that I can’t account for; Where are all the piles of debris from the holes?
Now I am a simple Midwesterner. I have dug more than my share of holes and made many retaining walls. The one thing that remains constant is that the material removed from the hole consumes more volume than the hole itself. The only time the material removed remains close to the volume of the hole is in beach sand. That is mainly because the sand is already loose packed.
I have even been to a number of mines. Sure enough, the piles of tailings are far larger than the volume of the mine itself. The other part is in most cases; you don’t transport the debris farther than you have to. Most mines leave the tailings right beside the mine or find use for it in road construction. Most of the limestone removed from the mines under Kansas City was turned into concrete and cinder blocks.
So, I figure with all the ‘tailings’ from the DUMBs and tunnels, there should be new mountains somewhere close to the entrances. Gobeckly Tepi was literally covered up with all the debris from the underground cities. Paris made buildings out of the debris from the catacombs. Where are all the new mountains of tailings from all that digging?
