On Jan 6 2020 my daughter and her three grown sons felt to go to Washington DC and be a part of the peaceful protest against the election fraud and show support for President Trump in that rally.
There were thousands who showed up and my daughter said they were all singing, visiting, meeting new people and in positive spirits as they made their way to the capital. None of my family members saw any one in crowd who were angry, violent or destructive in any way.
It was a peaceful protest.
When they got to the capital steps the police/ security guards opened the doors wide and ushered in those who wanted to come in.
My daughter and two grandsons stayed outside in front of capital while our 28 year old grandson Michael went inside. He had a heavy heart about what is happening in our nation and he had a sincere desire to go into the house chamber and prayer over the leaders of our nation and our country. He actually came to weep as he prayed. He was not angry or violent and done absolutely no harm to any property or person. He is a gentle loving soul.
Several months after the rally two FBI officers showed up at his door in Tennessee and he was arrested with a list of counts against him nearly as long as your arm. He has a wife and three small children. His very small sons were awakened out of sleep and began to cry and shake with fear.
Michael tried to comfort them both saying it was ok. These men won’t hurt us.

He was released a few hours later and given a public defender and his trial was pushed to a later date at least four times. He finally came to trial this June 9 of this year and was found guilty of a list of legal terms difficult to understand.
His lawyer told the judge in her private chambers that this young man was not a violent person and had no ill intent and he just wanted to pray over the leaders of this country as our dear country was in such chaos and confusion.
The woman judge said, ” very well, we can charge him with another 6 counts for being a religious fanatic and add 6 more months to his sentence at which point the lawyer asked to withdraw the part about his prayer.
Michael was sentenced to 18 months in prison and his young family needs our prayers to be able to survive this travesty and miscarriage of justice. Michael has moved his family to be near his larger family here in Phoenix area so they will have emotional support while he is gone.
The cost of rent is nearly out of reach for many families here in AZ.
All they could find was a house which was $2000 a month plus all the utilities so the overhead is more than his wife can do herself even with the wages here. So I would ask your earnest prayers for that family.
If anyone would like to help his wife and children keep a place to live and utilities on your help would be so appreciated.
