I would think no one wants to support Communism, BUT if you ask about Socialism you will find MANY who staunchly believe government should distribute welfare, equalize outcomes, be “caring”, and force all persons to contribute to “charity”. I would like to see you rewrite your post with the word Socialism.
We see what happens when government decides who gets what, government becomes a tug of war for assets, those who have earned money are characterized as selfish, all kinds of destructive reasons like reparations are invented as cover, only an Evita-like amount of charity is given, enough to maintain an illusion, not enough to do anything real, the populace is impoverished, the economy destroyed, the government corrupted.
Are Patriots willing to go off “the dole” cold turkey?
The difference between Communism and Socialism is moot. They are the same thing, a parasitic pyramidal payoff system that expends its energy purchasing support for the government. This is entirely different from a government intended to secure rights. When people stop thinking the Dow should indicate government success, and reject politicians who use the “families sitting around the kitchen table discussing how to pay the bills” as if the government has a mission to “help” here, we will get somewhere. We must learn to be independent, to do for ourselves, not to look to government for money or “stuff”. Until then, I don’t think we are ready for new elections; the country needs to be de-Socialized, like Germany had to be de-Nazified.
