Commander-In-Chief KUWL

If for 47 years, a supposed ally of the United States financed and engineered godless Middle East and global tyranny, necessitating a life-saving divorce by severing a “special relationship” in order to honor a God-sworn oath to protect and defend American’s Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic, should our Commander-in-Chief be praised, respected and appreciated for honoring his oath, should his actions simply be understood as his clear duty, or both?

What is the office actually obligated to do?

The President of the United States swears a specific oath:

“I do solemnly swear… that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

This oath does not include protecting alliances, financial systems, institutions, or geopolitical arrangements.

It is singular.

Protect the Constitution.

From a common-law and moral standpoint, that duty applies against all enemies – foreign and domestic.

So if a relationship, treaty, alliance, or financial structure were proven to undermine constitutional liberty or national sovereignty, a Commander in Chief would not merely be allowed to sever it.

He would be obligated to.

But obligation and courage are not the same thing

Many people hold an office.

Few fulfill its highest duty when the cost is enormous.

History is full of leaders who chose comfort, career, or approval instead of their oath.

Scripture captures the principle plainly:

“To whom much is given, much will be required.” – Luke 12:48

And also:

“You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” –
John 8:32

A leader who acts to restore truth and liberty is doing his duty.

But if that action requires:

  • confronting entrenched power
  • risking reputation or career
  • absorbing public attacks
  • dismantling long-standing arrangements

then moral courage enters the equation.

And courage is worthy of respect.

The Biblical frame

Christ teaches something subtle about duty.

In Luke 17:10:

“When you have done all that you were commanded, say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.’”

This creates a paradox.

A righteous servant does not seek praise for fulfilling duty.

But wise people recognize and respect faithful service when they see it.

The clean answer?

The most principled position is actually both.

If a Commander-in-Chief:

  • faithfully honors the oath to defend the Constitution
  • resists corrupt power structures
  • acts in defense of the people’s liberty

then:

  1. It is his sworn obligation.
  2. And it is worthy of respect when fulfilled with courage.

Duty defines the role.

Courage reveals the character of the man holding it.

My KUWL-style distillation:

  • Knowledge – The oath requires defending the Constitution.
  • Understanding – Alliances that violate that duty must be reconsidered.
  • Wisdom – Courage is required to act when power resists.
  • Life – A free people should recognize faithful service without idolizing the servant.

Iranian people love him.
City of London hates him.
Americans remain divided.

Truth frees.
Ignorance destroys.
Debt enslaves.
Wisdom blesses.

We are Free. In. Deed.

By design.

Happy Anniversary, America!
