Trump 2.0 – A New World Order
Trump’s second term has shown a significant change from his first. In 2025, Trump focused on his old trick tariffs. However, his policy in 2026 has fully diverged from Trump 1.0.
Trump is no longer an isolationist anymore. In fact, he is the exact opposite- mobilizing America for Cold War 2. Trump’s core policies today include:
- Using force to advance American interest globally.
- Attack NATO allies to export MAGA ideology, hard conservative ideals, to Europe.
- Advance American industries to be self sustain demand in chips and military.
No More Tacos
In 2025, everyone knew Trump Always Chicken Out. But his swift capture of Maduro sent a clear message: TACO is no longer a default choice in 2026.

Trump is leading a war on both ends. On US soil, he is leading a crusade to eradicate DEI. Off US soil, Trump wants America front and center on the global stage.
This time, instead of securing the old system America built itself since WWII, Trump wants to build a brand new world order.
New World Order
In Davos, Trump did not have a single good word to say about his NATO allies. Instead, he bashed anyone who dares to criticize him. For example, when Canadian PM Mark Carney talked about Canadian independence from the US, Trump removed Canada from the new Board of Peace.

The New World Order centers around Trump, and his avid followers who try to emulate his success globally. The ideological enemy is no longer Putin or Xi, but liberal European leaders who are paralyzed by virtue signaling and let their countries be flooded with refugees, turning Europe’s high living standards into a third world experience.

Trump is dismantling the old Globalist system to build a more aggressively American First world. Trump will use power as necessary to force other countries to realignment with American interest globally.
But Donald will not get there without resistance. Both internal and external oppositions are uniting to push back more than ever.
Domestic Front: Protests, Legal Fights, and Political Fractures
At home, Trump’s crusade against DEI and mass deportation policies has ignited widespread backlash.
Protests erupted in states like Minnesota, the “eye of the Trump storm,” where Tim Walz led protesters resist federal ICE operations through public demonstrations, lawsuits, and community mobilization.

For a more detailed account of everything that happened in Minnesota, read my previous article here:

Nationwide, demonstrations against deportations and immigration crackdowns have drawn millions of supporters. The political divide has only grown since the 2024 election with no end in sight.
Civil rights groups, like ACLU and Human Rights Watch, warn of sliding toward authoritarianism. Their worry isn’t made up- ICE agents keeping tabs on protesters can easily slide into secret police surveillance of private citizens.

Litigation remains a key tool: federal judges have slowed executive overreach in some cases, and a dropped appeal on anti-DEI measures shows courts do not agree with Trump entirely.
Democrats and some Republicans also push back. Gavin Newsom, the favorite Democratic nominee for 2028 election, openly bashes Trump and positions himself to be the Anti-Trump leader.

House funding bills face internal GOP dissent. Midterm dynamics loom large with some Republicans distancing themselves on issues like Greenland to avoid electoral blowback. Democrats still hold significant power over both the Senate and House.
Global Front: Allies Bite Back, Tension Rising
Internationally, Trump’s aggressive moves, tariff threats, Greenland pressure, NATO bashing, and the Maduro capture, have provoked sharp pushback from NATO allies.
At Davos, European leaders rallied against his Greenland demands, refusing blackmail and blasting threats of 25% tariffs on opposing nations. Europe stood firm: no concessions to force, with leaders calling U.S. actions “unacceptable” toward a NATO ally like Denmark. Trump eventually walked back military threats and claimed a “framework” deal, but the damage is done, leaving behind strained alliances, trade realignments (e.g., Canada exploring new deals), and questions about NATO’s future.
NATO partners mocked as “unreliable” in Trump’s speeches faced collective defiance. No major EU country joined his “Board of Peace” except Hungary’s Orbán. The lineup skewed toward autocracies like Qatar and Saudi Arabia. This isolation highlights fractures: allies see the new order as self-serving, not cooperative.
While Putin has softened his tone on the US recently, donating his frozen USD balance at the DOJ to Board of Peace, China ramps up Taiwan drills and North Korea tests missiles. Iran has also declared full retaliation if the US strikes.
Conclusion
Trump 2.0 is an ambitious endeavor set to put the world on skates but not without challenges. Gold and Sliver’s historical breakouts show that investors are quickly adapting to the world’s new realities.
