Do Not Talk Before Your Mind Has The Chance To Understand:
Political diplomacy often requires leaders to engage in civil, and sometimes warm, interactions such as shaking hands with political opponents or foreign counterparts they strongly dislike or distrust. This is not seen as an endorsement of their actions, but rather a necessary, symbolic gesture of etiquette, communication, and negotiation to maintain peace, foster cooperation, or manage conflicts without immediate hostility. Especially when other routes can be taken to mitigate all out conflict.
Some want D. Trump to act like they do on the internet geopolitically. Going off of photos. Using meetings or press conferences to form a final decision on matters that require extensive study. Is a development and personal issue. Most people who come on this app are already frustrated with their own lives. So they opt to conform to a more jaded side of life. They do not even see things working out in their own lives.
So of course they do not mind giving you a perspective based on that state of mind in general that muddy the waters for everyone else. Because for some reason people assume those types of people like them personally because they share common misery around a topic that caters to a more dystopian outlook on life because that is currently their life offline. But they will never tell you that. Most people are not in a good space financially. That alone shapes their opinion on the more grander stage of life.
This is no different than anyone else greeting someone on a cordial basis at a funeral who may be on bad terms. Shaking hands or politely gesturing to reduce steam if taken out of context can give the illusion that things have been amended behind the scenes. But if you are D. Trump and people take that snapshot and post it online you will come to a conclusion that drama has been resolved. And those two people would be aloof to the perception of it all. I laid out many reasons why these men are not “besties”. Which will remain that way for the foreseen future.
