Long before modern science and top-secret military programs even thought of this, Tesla made some interesting discoveries about the possibility of time travel. According to reports, in 1895, Tesla made a sho‌cking discovery showing that time and space can be influenced by magnetic fields. Tesla’s experiments with high voltages coupled with magnetic fields led him to discover that time and space can be warped, creating a door that could potentially lead to another time.

With this discovery and through his own experiences, Tesla then went on to discover that time travel can come with some real dangers. Tesla’s first time travel experience occurred in March 1895. A reporter for the New York Herald reported seeing the inventor sitting in a coffee shop seem to be shaking. Tesla’s as‌sistant said he was almost electrocuted by a machine while trying to solve the mystery of time travel.

After nearly dying, Tesla claimed he found himself in a completely different time and space where he could see the past, present, and future at the same time. He was then in an artificial ’magnetic field.’ He admitted that he was paralyzed in that electromagnetic field, so he couldn’t help himself. Thankfully his as‌sistant was around and the power was turned off before any serious danger occurred.

Chapter Thirteen: Interdimensional

He greeted us with that beautiful smile of his at one of the five spacious hangars of Air Bound Aviation, at an airport that was once the Fairfield Dairy Company. The location consisted of three flight schools and two runways. Junior came from the lobby with a carton of popcorn in hand and his dog Friday on a leash. Friday was a white Canaan with black patches around the eyes. The Canaan was an easy going, adaptable animal used by Bedouins to herd sheep, then later bred in Israel to sniff out bombs. 

Junior offered us some popcorn and we took it. Might as well enjoy the show. It all came down to what we did now. There were numerous service crew about. Junior informed them we wouldn’t be flying today, so they didn’t interrupt our informal tour. He brought us to his plane, his pride and joy, the six-seat, high-performance, single engine, all-metal, fixed-wing 300 horsepower Piper Saratoga II. Junior was describing some of the details when Titor picked up the thread and said the following:

“The Saratoga delivers a respectable 166 knots true airspeed at 10,500 feet with the 300-horsepower Lycoming TIO-540 putting out only 71-percent power. The normal cruise setting requires 30 inches of manifold pressure and a relatively quiet 2,300 rpm. It’s one of the most stable, forgiving, and docile big singles on the market. Its stall characteristics are benign, the airplane has great lateral stability, and it rides turbulence in a most admirable fashion.”

Junior was impressed by the details Titor reeled off like a product salesman, but everything changed when the time-traveler said to him:

“Now, I’m going to show you something, and when I do, I only ask one thing. Before you report it to the field manager, you first sit down with me in my Chevy Suburban, so I can show you something, which I promise will change your life.”

The Prince of New York was somewhat taken aback. Titor seemed dead serious. This was just not some loose sales pitch for a new product. This was something else.

Junior said only: “Sure, okay, then. What is it?”

John Titor looked around to make sure no eyes were upon us, neither human nor surveillance. Then, he steered Junior to the ADM (Air Data Module), which transmits information like airspeed, pressure, temperature, and more to the cockpit instrument panel. Titor showed him how it had been sabotaged with a remote device. This all happened so quickly and professionally it was like a surgical procedure. Junior was stunned, stricken, and immediately wary about our identities.

“How did you know this was here? Who sent you to tell me this?” he said, now stepping away from us. “I thought you were promotional agents from Cessna.”

From his vest pocket, Titor calmly produced the folded front page of the Sunday New York Daily News, from July 18, 1999, with the headline LOST – JFK Jr., wife presumed dead in plane crash off Vineyard. The paper was yellow and weathered.

Junior regarded it like he’d seen a ghost, but could not admit to himself in any real way all that believing in this required. Titor produced a People magazine cover, dated August 2nd, 1999, which displayed both Junior and his wife’s smiling faces and their dates of life and death, along with the statement: Charmed Life, Tragic Death.

Junior started to back away from us, but didn’t run. He was searching our eyes for some sign of a scam or a strange sick prank, but didn’t find any.

“We’ve come here, by means which you cannot conceive, to save your life and to change your fate,” John said, as calmly as a priest giving a blessing or last rites. “What you do in this moment is everything. Obviously, you can report this sabotage to the appropriate authorities. They will make sure you don’t fly this plane in this condition, of course. However, the hit on you, much like the one on your Father, is unavoidable. We can offer you another option, though. Like guardians with a sliding door to another reality. You promised you’d give us one minute in my Chevy Suburban. In that one minute, I can show you how the three of us came to the place where you are today from a place where we could get this.”

Titor held up another future proof. A fully intact issue of Time Magazine, the December 19th, 2016 issue, with the Last President (then President-elect) on the cover, as Person of the Year. John Titor handed the cover to his namesake, who took it and flipped through the pages. This was not something like a single black-and-white news page, which could somewhat easily be faked. This was an entire issue detailing how the Last President had won the election of 2016.

Junior studied it, amazed, for a long few minutes, then said only: “He won?”

He still didn’t believe all this, not really, but he now looked at us, three solemn angels in training, gathered his wits, and proclaimed:

“Show me your vehicle. You have one minute. We’re not driving anywhere.”

“Don’t need to,” was all John Titor had to say.
